THE NEBRA DISC was unearthed along with other items in the SAXEN-ANHALT region of GERMANY. In 2009 it was discovered from analysis of more than 300 European sites that the GOLD used to make the 3,600 year old disc was from the RIVER CARNON area in CORNWALL. In fact, the other metals used in its manufacture also came from CORNWALL. It is therefore probable that the disc was made in CORNWALL. But it was designed for use at a specific location in SAXEN-ANHALT.
