The ancient GODS, or more correctly WIZARDS, considered the ROWAN TREE to have many MAGIC properties. In addition to magic wands and staffs the FRUIT can be prepared and eaten or brewed to make coffee or various alcoholic drinks such as schnapps; and of course being MAGIC it's a FRUIT that is FORBIDDEN to the uninitiated. These trees are also called MOUNTAIN ASH.We can safely assume that a magical ROWAN would have accompanied our GODS on their various wanderings and explorations of the lands to the EAST. The EAST because the NORTH was FROZEN, to the WEST was the ATLANTIC OCEAN and to the SOUTH was the WORLD'S BIGGEST DESERT. The EAST was the most promising way to go. The EAST would surely bring them good fortune.
Of course, the scenario described in this and THE FOREGOING POSTS is only a figment of my imagination. But having said that it is a realistic scenario. We have seen that we are dealing with a highly evolved people.
The people who designed and built STONEHENGE, the oldest construction on our planet, and had items like the NEBRA DISC to hand, and doubtless many other surprises still awaiting discovery were far ahead of their time. It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that these people, the forefathers of the ANCIENT DRUIDS were the original GODS IN THE GARDEN.
